To commemorate the beginning of a new school year, I did a new divider for my daily planner. On the front there are two quotations: "
Teachers open the door. You enter by yourself", which is the epigraph from Dispenza's (2006) God on Your Own. The other quotation is from -- I think -- a listserv "As teachers, ours is to give students a map and a compass". 
On the backside I glued found poetry from clippings I gathered during the last weeks of summer.

Graham Rawle: Woman's World: A Novel
A funky gluebook-style novel that almost didn't make it past the 50 page mark, but then there was an interesting twist that's got me reading to the end. I avoided this book for so long UNTIL I saw Eric Maisel at Artella as part of his virtual book tour. The book accomplished its goal and I'm working on a new research project. Something I haven't done in way too long.
