I made the following pages in a new artist's journal entitled "Pilgrimages" in a slide mounts class I took at Las Vegas Art Stamps last Friday. The funny thing is, I didn't know what the title of the journal was until two days after I'd started it, found a newspaper article and a quotation -- "What does it profit me to go across the sea to Christ, if all the time I lose the Christ that is within me Here?" (Tolstoy) --that fit. Evolution -- one of the many things I love about this art form.

A funky gluebook-style novel that almost didn't make it past the 50 page mark, but then there was an interesting twist that's got me reading to the end.
